Wow did they screw up Online Franchise Divisional Tiebreakers!

Just advanced my OF into the playoffs. Pittsburgh and Cleveland (Both Users) were tied at 11-5, Pittsburgh beat Cleveland twice, therefore Pittsburgh should have won the division... well not in EA's mind. Pittsburgh got in on a wildcard and Cleveland wins the division but did not get a bye, so they still has to play in the wildcard round. This is bad but not that bad.

Here's where it gets F**KED up.

Washington and Dallas (both Users) are tied with a record of 13-3, and tied for the best record in the NFC. Washington beat Dallas both times, Washington has a better divisional record and a better Conference record. Who wins in EA's mind... Dallas. So even though Washington did what it took to bring home the bye and homefield advantage, they will be traveling to San Francisco (user) in the first round while the Cowboys get the bye and homefield advantage.

The offline Dynasty glitch that can send the #6 seed to the #2 in the second round or have a team that wins in the wildcard host a round two game isn't that terribly bad because in only way for this to happen is the Wildcard team must have a better record then the other team, however in the online franchise case the team with the better record, or at least tiebreaker, gets screwed.

This OF is really a unfinished business.
We already knew we had no contract, salary cap, free agency, now this.

A patch is said to be released this week, it won't fix the OF salary cap issue but at least I hope it will take care of the tiebreacking and seeding problems. Online and offline.

I did not see on there where they addressed issues like turn of Fight for the Fumble in OFs (something originally posted as a Commish being able to do), commish throw out results, blah, blah, blah, so I don't think OFs will get fixed this year... ok with the exception that the patch will give us field condition in the playoffs.

i don't play online franchise and haven't advanced to the playoffs in my offline franchise yet, but that's sad. there's really no excuse to fuck up how the playoffs and tiebreakers work, it's simple. it speaks to laziness and i'm not surpised because ea always fucks up something in the postseason outline in their college games.

There is definetly free agency, you just gotta go toplayer management and sign from the free agent tab

There's a free agent pool, but not free agency (bidding for a guy).
