Final Four - Formation Subs vs Custom Playbooks

Formation Subs
A feature currently found in last-gen NCAA Football and in next-gen Madden NFL, formation subs allows the user to get players into a variety of formations instead of the top player at each spot being in every formation. Would also allow users to get playing time for freshmen/underclassmen and insert in certain players for situational play, such as a third-string RB with high Break Tackle rating at I-Form for short yardage plays. Could be implemented like in last-gen NCAA Football (accessible via menu) or as in next-gen Madden NFL (accessible via play call screen).

Custom Playbooks
Many NCAA Football gamers spend days (if not weeks) trying to find the perfect playbook – one with the right mix of plays and formations they feel comfortable with. However, many end up disappointed – only finding a playbook that contains a portion of what they want. With Custom Playbooks (a feature in last-gen NCAA Football), users could pick a set number of formations and plays to use in a custom playbook linked to their profile.

I love Formation Subs in Madden, but Custom Playbooks truly takes the cake.

Formation subs. Really allows you to use your roster much better. You can get extra snaps not just for RBs but for DL and LBs. Pass rushing specialists can be used a lot better with formation subs.

I voted for formation subs here but both are absolutely 100% necessary!

Formation subs just as they were in last gen, with control over special teams, perhaps with the added functionality of being able to do it on the fly from the play call screen. This is a huge part of college football and needs to be added. I also would like to see custom packages added in as well...

Dear god, I can't believe that offensive playbooks have dominated this entire tourney. That's just disappointing.

I voted for formation subs.

Also there needs to be a bit more variety from player to player (athlete-wise, not equipment this time ) so as to really be able to use these players on a play by play level. Form subs

Well I have my doubts that NCAAStrategies is going to turn over a wishlist consisting of a single item. This is a means of ranking the wishes based on feedback from the community at large. This should give us a better ranking of what we want the most all the way down to what we don't care about.

Just because Formation Subs may end up 3rd or 4th on the list doesn't mean it's not something we, as a community, EXPECT them to add next year.

Still blows my mind that custom cheese ... errr ... playbooks is beating out formation subs.

Let's not get any sort of logistical chessmatch into the game, let me just dazzle people with my favorite plays that I use to blind the broken AI.

Nice!

How would custom playbooks be any more cheese than the current playbooks? It's not create-a-play.

First... this should be the FINAL MATCHUP... I just can't believe that the two biggest issues will meet here... absurd!!!

Secondly, you have to go FORMATION SUBS as that is the most fundamental aspect of football gaming. I want custom playbooks badly but custom playbooks are useless to me if I don't have formation subs.

They could add everything if they wanted to,but they like to add a few pieces at a time so maybe by the time Ncaa Football 15 Comes out they will have added it all,but don't count on it.Their lazy jerks.

Give me Custom Playbooks. It's unbelievable how nearly 95% of NCAA fans want this to return but EA just doesn't seem to want to implement it back in the series.

This is a very poor matchup since custom playbooks are somewhat useless without formation subs.
