Gamestop Provides Early Feature List for NCAA Football 10

Utopian Raughton55 sent the NCAA Football Community into a buzz earlier this week reporting that he had seen the back of a placeholder box at Gamestop which provided some details for what to expect in NCAA Football 10. Fellow Utopian oweb26 was able to grab a photo of the back of the box which provides us the "Feature Sneak Peak":

• Prove your pride nationwide in the ultimate showdown of school spirit!
• A revolutionary, in-depth Create-a-School mode.
• Artificial intelligence that reacts to your strategic gameplay decisions.
• Innovative defensive controls that will change the way you play the game.
• All-new risk-reward gameplanning.
• A new edition to the EA SPORTS broadcasting team bringing in-depth sideline reporting.

Some of the features mentioned we already have some of the details on but certainly some of them come as a nice surprise to the community.

Edit : and props to everyone else involved too. I'm just a little excited over this. This is going to be a whole lot of fun and depth in the game.

I was thinking that. My guess is that being a large company, the delivery guys, marketing guys and everyone else involved weren't in sync. They wouldn't have wanted this. They would've wanted to go big on this.

im thinking it could be like the read an react madden had were if you bring the blitz the qb reads it sometimes an doesent sometimes but this wouldent be a factor in online play

well that is talking about Season Showdown, which we know about, just don't know much about it.

well, apparently mean CAS is back. revolutionary? we'll have to wait till we get more information about it.

they announced Adaptive AI already, so we know this is true.


"Innovative defensive controls that will change the way you play the game"

pretty sure this is talking about the defensive assist feature and/or the player lock with gameplay camera angle change while on defense.


"All-new risk-reward game planning"

interesting..... not sure if anything we have heard yet would fit that description.


"A new edition to the EA Sports broadcast team bringing in-depth sideline reporting"

We were told that we can talk about items once they appear on the Inside EA Sports Blog or once EA mentions them. So right now, we can't confirm or deny the 'new' items on that list.

Could be. When I hear the word 'gameplan' I think of a strategy you put in place PRIOR to playing the game. ...but who knows???

With EA's logo, etc on it, wouldn't that be considered "EA mentioning" something? Or are you disputing the possible validity of the picture?
