Three suggestions this evening.

First, it looks like you've fixed the season QB rating, which didn't come out right for me in AViD 3. I'd also find it kinda useful if AViD calculated the rating for me per game as well. One less thing I'd have to type, plus I wouldn't feel any need to go back and check the game's dubious math (NCAA 2005 doesn't know how to round, for instance).

Second, I've gotten used to noting down every stat available in the game, and there's a couple still not set up in AViD. I'm thinking mainly of INT return and fumble return yards...though maybe there's others in later versions (or that are slipping my mind just now)? If there's a good reason to not have these stats in AViD, I can live without them...but it would be nice to have absolutely all stats loaded up.

Third, there are a few bowls, extant as of NCAA 2005, that do not have appropriate entries available from the pull-down list where you add bowl games. In my Utopians dynasty, these are the Tangerine Bowl (now the Champs Sports Bowl), the Silicon Valley Classic (now defunct; in the 2004 schedule it was between the Alamo Bowl and the Continental Tire Bowl), and the Continental Tire Bowl (now the Meineke Car Care Bowl). Actually, what would be really sweet would be the option to enter in all bowl details manually, coupled with the automatic sorting of bowls by date (if AViD 4 doesn't already do this...I know AViD 3 didn't, which resulted in ordering issues).

Oh, another random thing or three:

* I am still tweaking the team color for my Utopians on AViD 3. I am able to do this, but not change the default color for the team. It would be nice to be able to do that, for a custom team the user himself created.

* I am preparing to put the recruiting module through its paces for the first time, using my Utopians dynasty. (This is from a version of the game with between-season recruiting only.) I feel dumb admitting this, but I'm not sure what recruiting--and other--data I should be entering in, and what tasks I should be sure to perform, before I select "Start New Season".

More generally, it would be nice to have a checklist sort of guide for AViD: "Here's all the steps you can/must do for each season, and the optimal order for doing them in."

* I meant to mention a couple other things I track manually but don't see facility for yet, so they may be considered for inclusion into AViD:

- Player suspensions and injuries (including duration and games missed)
- Individual penalties (per game, plus season totals)
- In-season ability changes
- In-season changes in depth chart

I think that's everything on my mind at present...

Okay, one more.

I would love it if, in the "Roster" view, clicking on "Sort by POS" would sort the roster in the same order the game screens (and logic and custom) do: QB, HB, FB, WR, TE...etc., rather than alphabetically, which I do not find helpful.

(P.S.: On a random different subject, my test dynasty is still labeled as "Kevin Tm Ctest's" dynasty...has that not been fixed yet, or would I have to start completely over to keep the name from being so mangled?)

I just hadn't gotten it properly changed. Working on fixing it now.

Mandi: did we lose the old AViD forums? (I mean, did we lose all of the suggestions, questions, etc. from that site?)

I concur.

No they are not lost lost. But unless someone wants to go through all the old posts (after I set it back up for access for the person) and create a summary of them then I suppose they are as good as gone. I don't have the time to do it. I barely have time to work on Avid as much as I'd like to. :) We really need 30 hours in a day. [laugh]

How about the wiki? Same story, or is it more profoundly lost?
