Ok so on my new dynasty, I clicked on the custom view button under the schedule tab and it gave me a blank screen.

I have also entered in no data and did that. I am going to enter data now and try it again.

This custom view appears to be a problem right now on all tabs.

Note polls need to be giving an FYI on that you should enter the poll starting at #25 and go up. Makes it alot easier for doing.

Entered in a team twice into the poll and it did not catch the bug. Is there a way you can blot out that name once it is dragged into the poll section?

Input a player during the season, when to edit him (QB) and it popped up with the kick power/accuracy tabs and those should not be there since he is a QB.

EDIT: This seems to be on all the players and not just the QB.

In the recruiting tab while adding a player. He is a DE and it has the following showing up: throw power, throw accuracy, kick power, kick accuracy.

When entering in a player, I was expecting a bug when I entered only two numbers and no decimal and number after the decimal. No bug popped up there. Also on the same recruit I entered in a number like this 159.4 for a bench press and it accepted these all.

Entering in another player and in the vertical I added a " and it accepted it.

Then I went to a player and edited his vertical and made it a 41.9p and it accepted it.

On his player card and not in edit mode, the word balance is lowercased.

I picked a team in the dynasty section and it asked if i wanted a default rosters in for the new dynasty. I checked the option and I go to the roster screen and I see no players.

In the roster section, I messed up on a player had him halfway entered ratings wise.

I go to edit him and put in all the ratings and get this bug.

I gather you took sorting out this time around? Sorting in the recruiting section would be cool if possible.

In the in-season recruiting tab, I put the % at 100 and 2 on another player and it accepted it.

When I updated the player's in the in-season recruiting tab it has nothing listed in their position. I don't know what the deal is there. Now I re-freshed and it is back to showing the positions.

Made the QB had 2/1 comp/attempts and it accepted it. I don't think that's quite possible to have two completions and only one attempt. ;) Note this was editing a player's season stat column.

When looking at a players height while not in edit mode it looks like this on the roster screen "6/2" This could of been a user input error on my part. The others are looking good.

Put numbers in for a hometown and it accepted it and a character in the jersey number and it accepted it when adding a player to the roster.

Put a rating in lower than 40 on the player and it accepted it. Note this is the 2006 game so the ratings stop at 40 which you do have.

Note the height ranges from 5-5 to 7-0 on NCAA 06 and the weight goes from 160 to 415

Couple Things:
Be more specific about where exactly you are: I wasn't always sure what recruting form you were editing (off-season, in-season, player page)

Also what browser are you using?

Input a player during the season, when to edit him (QB) and it popped up with the kick power/accuracy tabs and those should not be there since he is a QB.

EDIT: This seems to be on all the players and not just the QB.
Should work better now when editing. Only recruiting fields relevant for position will show.
In the recruiting tab while adding a player. He is a DE and it has the following showing up: throw power, throw accuracy, kick power, kick accuracy.
I don't see this happening.
If you could make the tab order start at the first name in the recruiting section that would be great :D
From what I can see this is working. Every form in Avid should now have the focus start on the first field. I checked in Firefox and IE on windows and it was working.
When entering in a player, I was expecting a bug when I entered only two numbers and no decimal and number after the decimal. No bug popped up there. Also on the same recruit I entered in a number like this 159.4 for a bench press and it accepted these all.

Entering in another player and in the vertical I added a " and it accepted it.

Then I went to a player and edited his vertical and made it a 41.9p and it accepted it.

On his player card and not in edit mode, the word balance is lowercased.

Entered in a space into a players vertical at the end after a number was entered and the recruit was added.

Entered in a space first, then a char and then the number in the squat and it accepted it.
All the above should be fixed now for recruiting at least. :)

Actually all form fields in Avid the white space should get trimmed off as soon as the field loses focus.

I picked a team in the dynasty section and it asked if i wanted a default rosters in for the new dynasty. I checked the option and I go to the roster screen and I see no players.
Fixed and working.
In the roster section, I messed up on a player had him halfway entered ratings wise.

I go to edit him and put in all the ratings and get this bug.

That's all I got for tonight. Tomorrow I shall do more testing. :)
No idea. Can't reproduce it. Editing a players season is working fine as far as I can tell.
I gather you took sorting out this time around? Sorting in the recruiting section would be cool if possible.
Sorting of the Roster is still there. Don't know if I'll add more or not. It's not a priority right now.
In the in-season recruiting tab, I put the % at 100 and 2 on another player and it accepted it.

When I updated the player's in the in-season recruiting tab it has nothing listed in their position. I don't know what the deal is there. Now I re-freshed and it is back to showing the positions.
Sounds like a quirk since it's working again.
Made the QB had 2/1 comp/attempts and it accepted it. I don't think that's quite possible to have two completions and only one attempt. ;) Note this was editing a player's season stat column.
Part of what I'm doing this time around is not imposing policy on the user. I could spend weeks setting up javascript to do form validation on all of these types of things but in the end it could get in the way. Sure, for QB comp/att you would think it never would be a problem to set the att's lower than the comps. Maybe some day I'll go through and add some of this stuff in that makes sense but for now I'm leaving it alone. The above with the percentages is a better example. Maybe the user doesn't care about filling in % for all the recruits and is only concerned with one recruit or a recruit they signed. I don't know. But if I force filling in 100% down the column then I may be getting in the way.
When looking at a players height while not in edit mode it looks like this on the roster screen "6/2" This could of been a user input error on my part. The others are looking good.

Put numbers in for a hometown and it accepted it and a character in the jersey number and it accepted it when adding a player to the roster.

Put a rating in lower than 40 on the player and it accepted it. Note this is the 2006 game so the ratings stop at 40 which you do have.

Note the height ranges from 5-5 to 7-0 on NCAA 06 and the weight goes from 160 to 415

I know what it is while adding a recruit in the in-season recruiting section. When you select T, G, KOS, LS, OLB, DE it is keeping the fields for the previous entry and not changing to the proper fields.

While in the game scoring summary, could you make the save button have focus after the drive notes instead of having the save button have the focus first? Yes I'm lazy and like using the tab button to tab to it. ;)

Where are we to put our weekly ranking that we get durning the season?

Ahh..an over sight on my part. These are the kinds of things I need to hear about because for all the items I've stared at the schedule form I keep missing it.

For the above error showing the schedule I will put in a fix but for now all you need to do is set a conference for the dynasty. I think that is what you are missing in this case. :)

Ah, I didn't go to advance settings. I just selected the year of the game, and the team and hit the shiny little button.

Well the error is one I needed to be aware of so I could handle it better for the quick start dynasties. I'm trying to make it easier to dive into using Avid with the minimal of effort. You shouldn't have to enter the advanced stuff and Avid should still work across the board for you.

On the old avid, all the punting yards avg are 9.9 in the game stats of every game. Not sure what has happened there.

Is that extra team text box needed in the scoring with drive summery under the edit scoring tab? There is a short name and a team text box showing here didn't know if you had done that on purpose or what.

In the drive notes in the scoring with drive summary. When you go to highlight the drive length there is a ) in there. Since I'm more keen to this I know why that is. :)

Yes, I think it should go back to the editing of the scoring if that's where you cam from. It's supposed to go back to the screen you came from. I need to adjust the redirects. That's a good find.

Somewhere along the line on the old Avid something was happening with the database field for punt average and it messed them up so that 9.9 was always the value that ended up there. I think it's fixed though. Or shouldn't be happening any longer in the new Avid.

Very nice, you avoided having the bug where if you enter in a player twice while in a stat column (i.e. Passing stats) it doesn't yell at you!!!!

Ok so I edited a empty game from home to away. It did not put the teams in the proper place. They are still in the home format.

And just did this for an away game set to home and it did not correct itself there either.

When adding overtimes in the edit box score it adds them after the final score. This could be a problem when people are tabbing. Of course after you hit update it fixes it.

When looking at the stat leaders on the front page of the dynasty they are like this : Last Name First Name.
