That's my prediction. It's too early in the year for me to say they won't even make it to the big game, but they definitely aren't winning it.

The Chiefs could very easily be 3-3 right now. The defense still is only decent, and I don't believe Trent Green will be able to step up in a playoff game. Just don't kick it to Dante Hall and contain Priest, and you've got the Chiefs beat.

That was just a rant, since I was thinking of the Packers-KC game from last week.

Easier said than done.. Easier said than done, my friend.

Yeah, I know, but the Packers did it last week. No TDs for Dante, and Priest was held to under 70 yards rushing in regulation. Priest got 1/3 of his yards in the OT since the Packers' D was so tired.

And the Packers don't even have a good run defense.

This is the year of the Dolphins.

Williams, Fiedler, Chambers, McKnight, Seau, Thomas, Taylor, Mare, the entire secondary...you can't beat that!

And the Chiefs still won... Yes, they won, but they don't impress me. They aren't going to catch these lucky bounces all the time. When they play a disciplined team, I don't think the Chiefs can match up.

Lucky bounces? I guess Trent Green was lucky to throw 400 yards.

The "luck" is a result of them working hard, never quiting, and being a very good football team.

EDIT: I'm sure that makes a lot of sense. Great argument by me!

Actually, if you knew your history, you would know that Bill Belichick and his rag tag Patriot squad not only CAN beat that, but did today. Setting up the rematch, which is in Foxboro...in December...at night. Uh-oh. Limp, Ricky, limp. Then there's a home match against an Eagles squad that should be out of the running for the playoffs and pissed off, enjoying a few days in the sun away from rainy Philly. That could be tough. Then comes the other half of the sh*t sandwich, a road affair against Buffalo. The Dolphins kicked the Bills around on Monday night a couple weeks ago, but that sometimes isn't really an advantage in the second game against a division rival. Plus, I can't stress enough, the game is in December, in windy Buffalo.
I like the Dolphins for the super bowl as much as any AFC team, with some qualifiers. They have to make the playoffs first, which is mind bogglingly hard in the AFC east, especially when you essentially have two guaranteed losses in the final month, even more especially when those losses are to division opponents. In the playoffs, it would be best if they stayed at home, or if they have to travel, let it be to a dome or somewhere balmy. A trip to Indianappolis or Tennessee would be fine. However, if fate dials up Buffalo or Foxboro again, or Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, or Kansas City, they could be screwed.
Of course, until last year, we all had Tampa Bay pegged as a bunch of cold weather choke artists too.

But Dante Hall and Priest were still the two biggest factors in the game. The packers did a smart thing in not kicking it dirctely to Hall. But look what happened. two out of bounds kicks on kickoffs giving the chiefs good field possieon. Plus on two punt returns he retued them to the packers side of the 50. And for priest, yes he might have had only 81 total yards, but he had like 50 yards receving, plus a td. Also in ot he ran his butt off to set up the field goal and even though it was blocked his running on the drive made the packers think he was going to get the ball again then BAM! play action dive to him, then a 51 yard td pass to Eddie Kennision. I think they have a chance to go 14-2. they have oakland twice, san diego in sd(they have never loss there every time i'm at the game) Browns,Cinncy,Denver, lions bears and vikings.it will be tough with the broncons and vikings.

right now there are two teams that stand in the way of the chiefs winning the superbowl. the patriots and colts i like the colts to beat the chiefs with there high scoring offense and the patriots have a defense the can contain the chiefs if anything i think the chiefs will lose in the AFC championship game and i like philly, minnesota and seattle in the nfc .

The pats are playing with smoke and mirrors in my opinion. They will get exposed eventually. The Titans and Colts are the ones to watch.
