Those yellow bars on the right side of your player page, I have just discovered, are plateau-based. Meaning it does NOT go up a little bit every time you get better. It goes up a little bit when you cross specific numbers. For example, I noticed DJ Jazzy Smeth had a larger Tackling bar than I did, but my tackle was 39 and his was 41. So last night when I levelled up I added just 1 point to tackling to get it to 40, and my bar moved up to equal his.

So although we don't know the numbers, don't get discouraged by the yellow bar. It's not as accurate as we'd like to think.

However, it's also not fully based on one individual number.

I have two DEs on my team, both Level 10s. King has higher tackling and ridiculously higher vision. Matata has higher strength, speed, and agility.

Matata is higher on all three bars, Overall, Pass Rush, and Tackling.

I do agree with you that it doesn't incremement with each number increase, because that would explain why so many players have bars at the same level.

Hmm yeah I didn't think about that.

It was just strange that just by adding 1 point to tackling, getting it above 40, the bar moved up.

I'm not particularly surprised.

Just look at the bar as a letter grade rather than a numeric representation. :: shrug ::
