Check out your tactics page team owners GM's.

from Bort Just uploaded the advanced energy tactics screen for team tactics. Lots of options in there, I think most of them are pretty self-explanatory.

These options won't work for the remaining games today, but I'll get the new sim code uploaded for tomorrow's games.

You don't have to use them, BTW. They all default to "off" unless you set them.

That sucks I can't use them tonight. But good anyway.

Good start...now we just need situational tactics to be added. i.e. put my blocking fullback in for pass plays and put my ball carrying fullback in for run plays.

These are Advanced Energy Tactics.

Basically you have almost total control of when players get in to games on a psoitional basis!! So when it's 2 minutes to go...your studs are in even if they are a bit tired. Also when you are up by a margin you determine...the subs can get all the snaps! Should be sweet.

Plus if you want a certain player to play the whole time or split 50/50..you can do that now.

How's this going to effect Min Energy requirements? Kicking this up a bit and forcing starters in on 3rd/4th down and late game situations would seem to go hand in hand, eh?

It'll certain have an effect, but not much of one, imo. If you're already on the bench and "forced" into playing, that'll just mean you'll sit another play later.

It'll mainly mean that we shouldn't see my backup QB throwing the last pass of a long drive, like happened several times with the Roos lately.

The biggest effect will be if one team forces starters for, say, the entire 4th quarter, while the other team is using fresh players of a similar level. It'll be a huge boon to teams with strong depth.
