Update, 11-13-07,
Changed CPU Break Block to 25 (from 35)
and increased minutes per qtr to 9 minutes from 8 to compensate for running back yardage - have only had two RBs go over 100 yards with 8 minutes played on my sliders.

The most recent game. Played in dynasty mode, grabbed a non-BYU game - saw this fine matchup and played it out. Right off the bat I realized 8 minutes would be too short to see this game played out to its true potential. But I did notice that the unstoppable Mike Goodson (Leading in Heisman voting) can be stopped at times with sure tackling. The stout o-line for TTU made the difference in this one as backup RB K.Lewis racked up decent yardage. Overall a very enjoyable game, and a pretty good upset over a top ranked opponent. I'll be playing another one of these Top 25 games soon.

COMMONWEALTH CUP GOES TO HOKIES
Cavaliers o-line struggle
Overland Park, KS (AP) --- Despite the stats being in my favor as Virginia, the Hokies took advantage of almost every opportunity they were given. My offensive line didn't hold any sort of composure and it resulted in 7 sacks - 3 of those to backup my 76 ovr center, Jack Shields. Using Jameel Sewell to start the game was a mistake as I have difficulty using a left handed QB - but it made sense considering the left side of the O-line is ovr 87 and 93. However, it didn't help when that 93 ovr, captain Branden Albert, was forced out of the first half with strained pectoral. I threw some really bad passes - there should have been more interceptions, but the CPU failed to capitalize on some possible interception catches. QB Scott Deke was the man for the second half and put up good numbers for me, I felt more comfortable with more of a pocket passer than Sewell's scrambling.
The Hokies looked really good on offense, QB Ike Whitaker, 92 ovr, was fairly accurate. A nice moment in the game occured when Whitaker saw a wide open WR Sam Clayton down the field - but his throw was too high and sailed past the receiver - it was refreshing even though it exposed my secondary's weakness. Running the ball was a struggle for them as I chose to blitz the majority of the time - who knows what the score would have been if I couldn't stop Kenny Lewis Jr.
A quick note about the rushing yards. I think this directly is a result of the minutes per quarter. The next game I will experiment with 9 minutes, the game above was played with 10 minutes - but seemed a bit long. For those of you that have the time to do so, I urge you to try as it will still be enjoyable.
Other than minutes per quarter, I do not believe any area of the sliders need to be addressed - this game was played the way it probably would have in real life. It was a shame that I made some really bad throws - I admit I'm a terrible QB, I don't go through progression well at all and it showed with Sewell.
One more note - MLB Clint Sintim (91 ovr) caught two interceptions, but his 66 yard return on the first one was called back due to pass interference on him - this was another nice touch as I hadn't seen this before in the game. His second interception was legit as Whitaker tried to sling a high ball into double coverage.

did you take college classes to learn that stuff???
btw i love the sliders except the human passing needs bumped up to about 40.. i had a qb with 90 power and 90 accuracy, he couldn't throw 35 yds.. and when he threw a corner route he threw it way off.

no classes, just self taught myself on photoshop. Became a real hobby.
As for QB Passing - I don't have trouble with any players throwing pass 35 yards, sometimes too much. You're more than welcome to change it, but I like misthrown passes. I feel that a 90 tha and 90 thp QB should be able to throw some off passes once in a while - after all it's college football, there are nerves in the game and they should show. I also believe the AWR rating should be addressed as that obviously will affect passes.

Dude, K-State was scary early on, that was not pretty. My dad, who is a Mizzou alum, called from London and kept asking me what the heck was goin on - he called like 10 times, lol.
Those gay-hawks are looking good though; going to be a nailbiter.
I'm glad you are enjoying these, if you have the time - please post some recaps on your games as I'd love to see results from other users and not just myself.

FINAL SET 01/05/08.
Just a fun fun game using the WolfPack of Nc-State in Tallahassee. The Seminoles are one heck of a fast team defensively and my weak oline (78-84-79-74) did not help matters. No score in the first quarter showed that it might be a defensive battle, which for Florida State it probably was. Harrison Beck, NC State QB, struggled avoiding rushers and threw one up for grabs that CB Robinson snagged and took to the house to open the score. I wish I could figure out a way to reduce the amount of picks returned for TDs - I have noticed that this happens more in AA than the lower levels, have not tried much of Heisman.
Since the O-Line struggled, I had to look for a playmaker, and that came in the form of Lamarcus Bond, a junior WR, who was making plays every way he could. It was only fitting that he would catch a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Another game with no interceptions thrown by the CPU makes me happy :)
Hope you guys are enjoying the sliders, I think I'm nearing the final stages or probably am already there. This is looking really good. I think one more game before I finalize these.

I have a question. New to the game. Just was wondering if someone could explain the sliders to me - like what turning them up or down does. Is 50 supposed to be what they think normal game play is like? And if so, does going up to 100 make them better? Just trying to figure this out. Thanks

Also - do these sliders have any effects on players you control?
