Another Slider maker online (Playmakers) has apparently discovered that EA got the Knockdown and INT sliders BACKWARDS...at least on the 360...so INT controls knockdowns and vice versa...not sure about other console releases but it seems to work that way on mine!!!!

Thanks. I'm not registered over there, so you'll have to say thanks to Playmakers for me. Dude makes the best sliders on the 'net. Period. I don't always run with his exact numbers, but he always understands the engine really, really well. His explanations behind his decisions are invaluable. Tell him for me that he's the bomb over there.

Hey Supersigma21:
I play the same way you do and am following the slider pages and have found playmakers to be the best. I am also a former coach moder and this is my first year with the 360. I think your sliders if I am right bsed on Playmakers update on 27th, are this. I only comtrol QB and K to everything else is CPU.

What I did was set all cpu and cpu-controlled human sliders to what he had outlined for cpu settings.

Well, after falling behind 24-3 as Iowa at home against Wisconsin at halftime, I thought that these sliders sucked. I couldn't do anyting offensively. I think I had two first downs in the first half. The final score was 30-15. I went for 2 twice and didn't get it, I also was driving late in the game and failed on a fourth down inside the 5 yard line. I threw four picks which were costly. These sliders actually aren't that bad. I think I just need some more practice with this game.
I haven't started my dynasty yet, I'm trying to find the *perfect* slider set first. I'm trying a lot of things. I'm gonna play around with these more, along with Soce's heisman sliders.

My God! Who are you playing? My opponents are hitting 18/26, 19/30, 17/26, and 20/28- And that's KSU, USF, Miss St, and NMSU vs Auburn.

I think he means the CPU throws too many picks. Which it does.
Heismann has plenty to hate too though. The dealbreaker for me is the warping and sliding linebackers and DB's who slide through my recievers or blatantly foul them 15 yards downfield to make completely physically impossible interceptions. There is no reward or punishment for good decision making on Heismann - throwing to perfectly wide open reciever is just as likely to produce an interception as any other pass, so why bother with good play? The CPU simply decides that it will win X number of plays and it will do so at its leisure and you cannot influence that at all. I wouldn't mind the absurd aggressiveness and completely illegal fouls if they were actually called as such, but evidently the defender is allowed to do whatever he wants downfield.
Sigh. EA needs to re-do the passing game from the ground up. On older systems, the outcome-based engine was fine because the animations were so bad you didn't know any better. Now the game looks fairly close to real, and so we expect it to play in a physically realistic way.
