That would enhance the experience for you.
Here are a few of mine (I have no idea if any of these are in the 08' game or not)
Realistic crowd interaction for blow-out games/or really close exciting games
& when an under dog upsets a heavy favorite their 1/3 of the stadium storms the field for the celebration (think Boise St/Oklahoma) I'd love the goal posts thing but NCAA wont allow but fans storming the field is football WORLDWIDE!
Big intro's to the big games & not just bowl games, Iron Bowl, Red River shoot-out,Cocktail party & all of those have a different feel than other games maybe a take the field & a national anthem followed by B-52 /f-16 flyovers. just something to set those apart & more fun.
This is a BIG one for me unlocking of different skills, animations, tools and things like that the longer you stay at one school. How cool would it be if in year 6 you unlocked some different tackle animations that you didnt see in the first 5 years. Not that it needs to be a more powerful Tackle or anything like JTS but just WOW that was cool looking tackle. As you go along in a game having to suffer through a wide right or a wide left in a season would be awesome. The new recruiting sounds like it is going to take advantage a little bit of this as you unlock shills/promises as you earn them but do you lose them if you leave UNT for Texas or at least some of them? Oh how about a controversial call in your favor or against you?
What are some things you guys would like to see in Dynasty to make it a richer experiance.

Pretty much the ONLY thing that would get me interested is online dynasty mode with support for 'leagues'. I don't go ga-ga for dynasty to begin with but if there were a convenient way to do it with friends online, I'd be mor einclined to try it (tried it with emailed dynasty files but that was a pain).

Don't see how "unlocking" a new tackle animation would be beneficial, but to each his own. Any enhancements to the presentation would be welcome.
Personally, the only thing I really want to add to Dynasty mode is hiring assistant coaches and a visible coaching carosel. Oh, and the ability for CPU teams to change conference. To me it makes no sense that a player coach can change teams and a player team can change conferences, but no other teams/coaches can. Just add it to the options menu so if people don't want it they don't have to have it.

Bingo, I'd love for them to put in a coaching carousel like they have in place in the College Hoops series, and the assistant coaches would be a big plus. I'd love seeing schools pick up assistants and using their play book to redefine their play style. Different atmospheres in bigger games would also be very nice.

I sure agree that it would be nice to have the big games feel more like big games somehow, someway. Even just the bowl patches on the uniforms help with this, hopefully they'll return soon. Also I'd like in the "My shrine" thing to be able to retire jersey numbers, and have the jerseys hanging in there....along with the players stats avalible to view. I've just have a feeling we may see that within the next few years...just a guess. Thats just afew off the top of my head.

There used to be some team specific intros. I wish they would bring them back and build on it.

Here's some thoughts I had that I'd like to see
Medical redshirts, season ending injurys(how great would it be to be pre-season ranked #1 & lose your starting QB) Assistant coaches on the field with complete philosphys so you could hire a bend but dont break DC (KINES)
or an agressive blitzing style DC(G.Stallings)
Control over S&C programs with visable results if you over do it in season your players gas in the 3rd & 4th qrter of games. If you manage it Nebraska circa late 80's early 90's you can have a hell of a option team/great defense.
spend some time here & really make it a deep part of the game. but give the option to put S&C on "auto" for those who dont wanna fool with it.
I'd love to see an injured player take the field anyway against doctors orders. Say like a kicker injured in the third qrter. "pulled Hamstring" limps out on the field kicks/misses the last second field goal. If he hits it carried off the field. (emotion) tell me that you would not be jumping up & down if that happened &was done "RIGHT"
the longer you coach & the longer your staff is together the better you should become at your craft. I'd like to see those 8th year crop of db's come along a little faster than your first year group.

And just general busts players that are lazy;no work ethic & you end up having to make the hard decision & kick him off the team. maybe you get a little credibility boost for it.

I thought the bowl patches were still there, I just played a BCS title game last night and it was there- at least on the PS2. Were they not on the 360 in 07?
I have always wanted to have the retired jerseys and I would like to add the Real Life retired numbers to this option. Every year in my AU dynasty, I have to go through the roster and change the numbers for anyone wearing #7 (Pat Sullivan), #88 (Terry Beasley) and #34 (Super Man)

The med-redshirts- I know CG is getting this for 08. I hope that NG is as well
The asst coaches- yes, just like Madden has had for years- ALONG with coaches retiring before the turn 100 yrs old
The injured players- I would like there to be the option to put a player in or hold him out. Maybe there would be some sort of Trainer Reprt, instead of the Injury report, where the trainer tells you what the injury is, then after a few plays, you can ask him what his prognosis is and what he suggests doing (waiting a Qtr, waiting til the half, holding him out of the game, maybe even a couple of weeks).
Ultimately, the decision is yours though and you can choose to follow his orders or not. If it's a blowout and you have a BIG game next week, you may want to keep him out. If it IS a Big game, then maybe you chance it and put him back in the game in a clutch situation. He could make the big play and pump up your team (new leadership feature) or he could get hurt worse and now, instead of missing a game, he's out for the year.
I would like to see the model that Madden has, where you have to take them out of the Depth chart to make them heal faster, and they may only be 80% the next week, or even the next. I think this can only bring more realism to the game.
Improving coaching staffs- Again, just like Madden. I would even like to see something that I think you are hinting at added to the ratings for those coaches- Staff Chemistry (they have a team chemistry rating already). If you have a new DC then you take a hit, maybe for a year or so, especially if you change schemes. If you have the same guys that started with you, then you have an advantage over an equally talented, but less tenured staff.
The suspension/"kicked off the team"- the ONLY way I would like to see this is if you have some way to give the player guidance when he starts F'ing up so that it doesn't happen again. I hate the total randomness of the discipline system (more "A" rated players getting in trouble than "Poor" Discipline players) and if you are not allowed to steer troubled players in the right direction (something that I think would be far too labor intensive for Tiburon to do successfully) then I would like to not see this at all, or at least be able to turn it off.

I'm quite sure they were not in the 360 version. Another one of those...not the end of the world things, but the bowl patches are a very nice little touch. I've got a feeling they may not be in the '08' NG game either, because I've seen screen shots of bowl games for '08' and the team names still aren't in the endzones. So I'm assuming the bowl patches won't make it in either....I hope I'm wrong.

I would like to see another layer of prestige added into the game. I would like to have:
national prestige = your ability to go and recruit players outside your region
regional prestige = your ability to recruit players inside your home state and region
academic prestige = no explanation needed
I was thinking of this because there are some schools who are very good at keeping talent at home but do not have much success in leaving their region and bringing in players.

I would like to see players who get cut have the ability to sign elsewhere. So you could sign other teams' castoffs and they could sign yours. Also, with bowl game end zones, I would like it if they weren't simply copied from the team's stadium. Make them unique. Like for ND, instead of them getting their traditional diagonal lines, give them a dark blue end zone with "NOTRE DAME" in it and their helmet on one side and the bowl logo on the other. No more green grass end zones for bowls either. Color it in. I would love to see a blue end zone with "PENN STATE" in it instead of a green grass end zone with "PENN STATE" in it for a bowl game.

Good stuff, adding to that the stains on the uniforms from said painting of the fields would be great.
Oh how I long to have some true goal-line stands, Penn State- Bama comes to mind.
Maybe a handful of us together with some programmers should get together & develop a college game from the ground up.
In fact thats what we should do with this thread, lets break the game down in sections & talk about it for a week or more as needed. things like
*THe field; the grass;endzones;anything & everything thats is the field.
* The stadium; things interacting in the stadium, couple suggestions, hot dog vendors walking & yelling; occasional pan of the camera sees him doin his thing. The wave going round a stadium after a big play/touchdown. the camera pans to it maybe once a game,but you might see it out of the corner of the helmet more often,just not overdone EA. things like this & more
* Dynasty mode broke down & built from the fground up
* on-field play for each position one by one.
you get the Idea maybe the mods could set this up & put a timeline with it & for every finished area we bundle & send/share it with EA. I guarentee there will be cool ideas that they never thought of that they could get in the game.

Kinda all over. Mobile, Tuscaloosa, Anniston, Auburn, and a small town called Grove Hill. I used to date a girl whose family had a house on Smith Lake. Would have learned how to ski that day, but the rope was dry rotted and it broke- while she was holding it. Did I mention she's an ex?:D

Like Pontiacnutt, I agree. I always loved the endzones that are painted each year for the REAL Sugar Bowl. The AU/Michigan, AU/Syracuse and the AU/FSU endzones looked so colorful in person, and I wish EA would create a Secondary Endzone scheme (RAC, are you reading this?:) )for each team, so that they would have these in the bowl games- At least, for the BCS Bowls. Not sure about the programming for this, but I would guess that the Disc space/size is no issue for such a small thing.
And I have never done the research, but I always wondered if the players that are DNQ each year in recruiting are the same players (if not in name, at least the same attributes) as those that show up the next year or two as JUCO players?

You know, the end zones can be generic. Team helmet on left, SCHOOL name NOT nickname in center, bowl logo on right, color in all remaining areas. And, yeah, I never thought about it, but the JUCOs should be actual DNQs from previous years.

EA, please fix the current problems BEFORE adding more (potentially problematic) features to the Dynasty mode!
Actually, I would like to see some infractions during the season. Also, have the ability to steal a recruit that verbally committed during the season over to your school.

well, the gameplay is much better than last year. The run game especially. But, i feel like the offensive live is crap for your team when you play either dynasty, or even worse, CL. I made a balanced quarterback, and i need to roll the pcket almost every play. I dont want EA to twink out the offencive line, but at lease let some of your guys get a few pancakes...
also, the offencive tackle is a little better, but YOUR offencive taclke should at least touch the DE... almost every time i bootleg, i get a DE in my face. My OT isnt that bad, 83 overall. He needs to lay a finger on the DE tho, at least once in a while...
i do like the entrances idea... that would be nice to see, but unlocking irrelevant things just seems... worthless. i mean, yea, "to each their own", but i am more worried about the gameplay moreover cleat hits.
