No, not those rankings. I'm only 7-3, ranked in the 7000's. I can't believe I have lost three games, and have actually not erased my name. /oops
The rankings I am referring to is the All-Time Rushing Leaders Chart (http://www.easportsonline.com/games/ncaa2004/leaderboards/home.jsp?start=1&range=100&page=1&ranking=1&rankingtype=1&subrankingtype=3&rankingname=6) on the EA website.
#7 with plans on moving up. I have found that, by switching my focus to this aspect, has allowed me to lose like a man, instead of a name-erasing little punk. :)
Now, yes this stat is somewhat skewed. Do I get 500+ rushing yards against the good players? Not even close. More like 275-300. And, I feel I play a fair game, considering I use Nebraska, and do run it often.
But, when the opponent wants to quit, I have found much enjoyment going into "Rape CPU" mode, which yielded me a 1,033 rush yard game last night. When I play the CPU online I become a cheezing maniac. First, Fabian Washington becomes my starting QB. No-huddle options are called non-stop, and I onside kick every kickoff. Is this fun to me....sorta. Did this average help me lose 3 of my ten games....probably, I can sometimes be too stubborn with the run. Would I ever do this against a human opponent? Never.
Anyway, just wanted to show you all that a fellow Utopian is doing alright. I am representin' on the charts. 733.7 is in my sights. It's a damn shame that fella hasn't played in two months. /evil
