Nothing new shown really, although for 360 owners that want to see what the achievements are, they're are 50 and a handful of them are shown. NCAA 08 starts around the 23 minute mark.
It's Oklahoma vs Auburn in a bowl game.

It's kind of a bad sign that the first user play on offense is a roll-out corner throw for a 95 yard td.

EA needs to put more energy in the NCAA public relations stuff. The guy that they had there playing the game was pretty poorly prepared for that interview.
I think they'd almost be better off to get somebody that's not a producer go do these things (maybe somebody like RAC), since a lot of times those producers know so little about the areas of the game that they didn't work on personally.

I don't think he was a producer, rather an in-house guy that had been playing the game a bit... that's what I got out of it.

gnperdue, not really . Did you read ANY of the reports from our mods that tested the game out already?

Oh, I was mistaken then. I just noticed that he said that the game had formation shifts and co-op mode, when it doesn't.
I also noticed that he had the players named. At the end there it shows that the pass set a new school record, and a little pop up came up showing QB #12 B. Cox.

One thing I noticed that needs mentioned, when he did the prospect search & put in 5'9" 285lb dual-threat QB he got 0 results...very realistic.
Then he wnt back took out everything but dual threat & pipeline states & got only 3 choices if I remember a 5* 4* & a 2-3* athlete I think that bodes really well for dynasty mode, Oh Yea the 5* was already committed to TENN :( j/k, anyway I'm very excited for dynasty mode this year if nothing else it will take us longer to figure out how to dominate recruiting.

That's the worst interview I ever heard. I know more about this game then this guy.

I read all of them, avidly. But I haven't seen a lot of gameplay yet. It just seemed ominous. Although I did like the way the back picked up the blitz to give him time to throw.
I hope it is indeed less arcadey this year. Although, it's not like I'm not going to buy it if it is too easy to throw deep, lol. I put in the pre-order a looong time ago.

The presentation for the National and Team Stories looks pretty cool. Without the magazine covers and stories, I felt pretty disconnected from my dyansty last year.
If they knew what questions were going to be asked, why wasn't the guy doing the interview prepared? He didn't know the answers to any of the questions.

Still, did you watch the video? Pretty much looked exactly like 2007 on that play.

Yes Mr. Rad, the National/Team stories feature is a nice one, and a welcome addition. As far as the "disconnect"....ya me too. I found myself really not paying attention to the national picture.
With the interviewer....ya he seemed alittle ill prepared.

You have to take into account that they were most likely playing on a low difficulty setting. If our mods say it is improved then i would go by that and not some dumbass video where a dumbass is playing it...

Yeah ... that was not an EA guy. I've seen that guy in several OTS presentations. I don't know why he was doing it, and not Brian Eckberg, who usually does the sports stuff.
It was a pretty poor presentation all-around, not helped at all by Jeff Gerstman making one smartass remark after another. I liked him alot when he did Let's Gamespot, but he really adds nothing to that show. There are times when I wish he would just disappear, or at least hold his tongue. OK, you don't care for the sports games ... we get it.
I watch OTS regularly, usually the following Monday, but it was much better when it was the two Ryans.

Agree 100%. For quite awhile I felt like we were being kept in the dark about what to expect from Ncaa '08'....at least gameplay wise. And really if it wasn't for you and Cdj, heck....we'd still be in the dark. Thanks again guys!
