I like this video, mostly because it does a really good job explaining Super Sim.

Just because I haven't seen much about it:

Is there anything associated with "My Shrine" that perhaps tracks dynasty stats/records/information?

If not then that is definitely at the top of my list for 09.

The highlight feature looks like it has great potential, especially for dynasty players. Instead of doing long winded writeups for each game you could just post the stats and a couple of highlights.

Does this mean that you can call the play and then super sim it? If that is the case it may be a workaround for coach mode players.

I think I'm going to do an entire highlight package for every game, especially since I'll be recording the games on my computer.

After all, I have to get a use out of my Vegas Pro and Premiere Pro, right?

Hey the Vegas Pro. How much did you cop it for? I have been interested in getting some video editing software.

Eh, I got a little screwed on that. It was $95, and there was supposed to be a mail-in rebate, but apparently the UPC got seperated from my rebate form so I didn't get the rebate. Still not a bad price, I have to say.

Actually, it wasn't Vegas Pro, I misspoke. I actually got "Vegas Movie Studio + DVD Platinum Edition". It's not as good as Vegas 7 + DVD, but it was good enough for what I needed.

if you want a very affordable and decently powerful video editing software, check out Pinnacle Studio. I picked up mine for $10 on eBay, its a basic version, but you can buy upgraded components and only have to buy what you want. The only thing it doesn't do is it can't edit WMVs but it can handle just about anything else including final encoding to Divx.

The one thing I would recommend, especially if you're willing to cop ~$100 or more for video software, is going to the company's respective websites and seeing if you can use a trial of their program. I used Adobe Premiere for years, so I looked around to see if there were any programs that had a similar feel to the interface. Vegas is a little more robust (and thereby complex) than I really wanted, but I've gotten used to it. Of course, the only reason I ended up buying it was because I thought I was getting it for around half price (with that rebate).

I've been waiting for something like supersim ever since I started playing this game.
