Three Additional NCAA Football 08 Preview Videos.

The third also shows a true gang tackle and a QB who utilizes the pocket.

I noticed a major problem in one of the videos. If you watch the flea flicker video, the CB on the left side inexplicably sprints towards the QB from his deep coverage area. The defense gets lucky and the WR's route takes him towards the Safety, but if that guy had been running a streak instead, it would have been an easy score.

Also, watch the OLB on the video that has the playfake pass to the sideline area. What the hell is that guy doing? He starts out and bites on the fake (nothing wrong there), and then he does some kind of waddle/trot deal trying to get out to the flat, and then as soon as the QB rolls to that side a little bit, he completely leaves his area and comes up to try and make a play (which he doesn't even have to do because the DE is out there).

There were MAJOR problems with PA last year, they better get this stuff cleaned up.

A QB who ... uses the pocket? On a video game site? WHAT?!

Probably a factor of the low difficulty. If you look at Gameplay Movie 1, there's absolutely no coverage on the streak ... and that's crap. And the kickoff coverage ... this has got to be Varsity, if not JV.

Looks like we got rid of the horrible return cam.

EDIT: Uhm ... great. Mizzou is down 27-12 before halftime and Kirk thinks they have a "big lead". F-shit, are they ever going to fix that drive bug?!

EDIT 2: I can tell I'm actually going to enjoy CL. Maybe I'll create my '95 Buckeyes and then try to get a scholarship ... battle with Joe Germaine?

The streak was a problem with a user taking the Safety and biting down out of position on the TE's route. I went back and looked at the play, and the defender that the user was controlling (SS) was responsible for the deep sideline area where the streak was completed.

I don't think the flea flicker thing is a difficulty issue. It's a problem similar to the old Option pass play problem, where defenders in deep zones would get confused and run towards the QB rather than guard their area. There's absolutely no reason why a CB in cover 3 would drop back 10 or 15 yards, wait for the QB to get the ball and set up to throw, and then suddenly decide to blitz. I have no idea how fixable it is, or how close this build is to final, but that's a major problem. I didn't play next gen a lot last year, but apparently there was some sort of glitch involved with a flea flicker play last year too, where DBs would get confused and rush the QB instead of guarding their guy.
