I love the NCAA series. My brother-in-law and I play a dynasty every year against each other and it's awesome. So much fun.
Anyhow, as we all know the sliders are the key to our fun and especially as a coach moder who doesn't rely on thumb jockey skills the sliders are even more important.
From almost the beginning this year we've been using the "NCAA 2007" sliders that can be found in another thread but those are AA and I'm finding that as your team get's very good they do not offer any competition at all. They are great for lower rated teams but not good when you have a great team.
So here's what I'm thinking.
1. Start out with default rosters and default Heisman sliders, 8 min qtrs.
2. Play 4 games with the two best rated teams from the default roster which are USC and Ohio St in different situations, IE, playing as USC at home and away against Ohio St and then vice versa.
3. Record all the stats for each game and jot down some thoughts on each game.
4. Make adjustments after every four games based on the stats and impressions of the games.
5. Rinse and repeat until I'm completely satisfied with the gameplay, stats, and results.
Any thoughts, anyone?
I know all the coach moders out there will be interested. I really think the CPU plays much better and really much smarter on Heisman and that's the reason I want to go to it and away from Heisman.
We'll see what happens. I'll keep everyone posted. It won't be a quick process but it'll certainly be interesting and I for one am looking forward to it.
