I was just curious if somebody could list out the differences between the two. Im on the fence to whether Im gonna go buy another XBox/PS2 or stick w/ just the 360. Mainly because I miss playing past copies of this game, and want to check out the new one, but have other older games that Im wanting to play as well. Anyway, what all are the differences? I have a 360 one.

The biggest things missing from the Xbox 360 version are:

*1-AA teams (there are NONE!)
*About 40 1-A stadiums are not even modeled
No "fair play" online (although I'm on the fence about that one)

After reading threads throughout the board i'm also more curious about the differences between the next gen and current gen versions. I didn't buy madden on 360 because i heard how it was stripped down and basically like a demo lacking key features in franchise mode and all it had was great graphics.

I didn't think this would be the case for 07 so i bought it, and i only have had a few hours to play it and i noticed the quick stuff, nice graphics, some new gameplay things, lots of presentation things missing but i assumed the game was similar on the current gen as well but after reading it seems like there are much more things on the current gen. Can anyone clear this up a bit more?

Off the top of my head, the 360 has a pretty complete dynasty mode. I think someone said it was missing discipline and ESPN magazine (or something) from the current-gen. I know it doesn't have the spring game and mini-drills.
The 360 does have the mini-games--bowling, etc.
And of course its missing the whole student life (back to school) mode.
The online interface leaves much to be desired as well compared to the current-gens.
The 360 also has the ability to take snapshots for photo albums and has ESPN
instant classics (not sure if this is on current-gen).
The 360 also does not have the trick plays that current-gen does and playbooks are generally different i believe.

The 360 doesn't support coach mode or cooperative play, which was a downer for many.

The main reason Im considering the getting one of the current gens is the new Spring Drills as they sound pretty neat, and I do miss the availability of the Student Mode. Also, my schools (Ark. St.) stadium is just a generic model on the 360, which makes my main dynasty mode not nearly as fun.

Are the PS2 and XBox versions the same? I figure if I decide to get one, ill get another PS2 (funny enough thisll be my third PS2 over the years)
