Strategy to prevent kicks from being blocked?

Is there anything that you can do to try and prevent your kick from behing blocked? If you kick it with less power, does the kicker get the ball in the air sooner? Does putting the highest trajectory possible help? I'm primarily concerned with chipshot FGs (inside the 10) and PATs, where power isn't really necessary. I have no idea what you'd do on longer tries.

Doing exactly what you said will help. Kicking the ball before it reaches full power will get the kick off quicker, and it will be tougher to block if you kick with a higher trajectory. The drawback is both of those things will make your kick/punt shorter.

P.S. Kicking it with zero power and maximum height doesn't prevent kicks from being blocked.
