Vision Cone

I've been using this the last few games I've played and I can't tell if there are any benefits to it at all? Am I more accurate using it then someone who doesn't use it at all? Or does it just make it harder for me? I seem to notice defenders cheating towards whoever I am looking at, which I am using to my advantage. They might cheat towards that receiver anyway though. Any thoughts?

Yeah i'm pretty sure that having the cone over a player creates more accurate passes.

You're telling me that the Vision Cone is an option on the 360 version?

Is there any way too make the cpu use the cone? I haven't noticed any setting for it, but I haven't looked too hard either.

I just wanna know, if you play someone online, is there an option for the to require them to use vision cone passing?

Does it stop cheese scramblers?

No it isn't required online and even if you do bring it up online it has no effect. I had a guy that would bring it up, leave it in the center of the field and then proceed to throw to the sidelines accurately.

Really Shakey? In my experiences from playing so far, if I throw to someone not in the cone it is ridiculously off target (although I rarely lob passes, so that might be the difference)

Well from that one experience thats what I gathered. He was throwing it all over the field with pretty good accuracy.

is it actually working better as of late? from what i could tell, the vision cone wasn't working in our game, but then again most of the time you were using it, we were both in offensive stagnation.

aside from the scrabble and chuck, and the usual BS that comes with playing online, cheese is rather low, plus there is no HB direct or WR direct. though, there seems to be a high volume of people doing it.

I'm undecided if the vision cone helps or not. It seems like I can place the ball between defenders better when the cone is on, but I have been using it the last 8 games or so (only played 2 games where I did not use it). I'm not really sure. I can't read the whole field as well when I use it (it distracts me) but I generally know where I'm going to throw it before I snap the ball based on the defense anyway. I'm trying to use it in hopes that you can kind of look the defenders off.

I ended up 19/29 for 158 yds(after a 3/9 start) for what its worth.
