Recruiting difficulties. Post help here..

I am having some difficulty using the inseason/pre-post season recruiting interface.
1.) How can you see a list of players by postion from across the country, not just state by state? I want to recruit top 10 players by position but don't want to go into every state.

The 2006 PS2 version allowed you to see the best players from across the nation on one screen and recruit them. I can't seem to do it on the 360.
Any help would be appreciated.

you can hold down the Right trigger button, go to All Prospects, then hold it down, go accross the screen to select a particular position, then use the dpad to go over to interest level, or star level and Y to sort.

yeah, the UI in general is the biggest case of "if it ain't broke, we ain't done with it" I've ever seen in a game series.

also i thought Interested prospects was gone, but you get this by sorting on the left most column...took 10 seasons to get this figured out

Is there a way to pick what you want to pitch to the prospect(presitge, location, etc.) or is that gone in the 360 version?

How do you do it then? First I picked the 12 guys I wanted to pursue and than before week 1 I applied points to them, but I'm not seeing were to go to pick my pitch.

In Season - You keep going back each week to allocate the points differently as each recruits interest grows or diminishes and you are either on their top 5/3 lists or not. You cant specify a pitch until you bring them for their official visit, then you choose what you think will work the best, as youve gotten an idea over the past weeks. Then go w/ it, and hope for the best.

Off Season - Its available every time at the bottom, under how many points your allocating for that player (IE Send the House, In Home Head Coach Visit etc)
