How has it worked for you? I am doing a dynasty with tOSU and it isn't working. When I try to challenge a play it says something like "This play cannot be challenged or has been viewed as a instant replay" or something like that.

You cannot view the replay before challenging.
You cannot view the replay before challenging.
Really? Stupid. I've never tried to challenge yet, but that doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? Don't the coaches usually have guys in the booth watching replays that would tell them to challenge it?

However, this is always how madden had it work, so I know that is what is going on.

No, they don't.
In college football it's illegal to have TVs in the coaching booths.
The only replays that they can watch are the jumbotron replays.

I don't have a jumbotron in my living room, unfortunately. :P

I was finally able to challenge a play in Dynasty Mode! It was regarding the spot of a ball. Unfortunately the game has not let me challenge anything else [down]

All the challenges I have had came from the officials with less than 2 mins in the half. I haven't been able to challenge anything, even w/o looking at the replay. I usually try to challenge if a catch was inbounds or a first down. However, for the first time a couple days ago, the officials challenged a play that the ball was caught. They reversed the call since on the replay you could see the CPU let the ball hit the ground while catching the ball. I wouldn't even have challenged it, i thought it was just a ball caught low. Good call refs!
I've tried to challenge a few plays (ball caught inbounds, ball touched ground before being caught), but without seeing a replay, I just have to suck it up and hope it works. Unfortunately, I haven't overturned one call. It sucks because during the replay I'll be able to see the WRs foot drag maybe an inch inside the field, something you would never catch at full speed. Only the refs have overturned anything in my games.
I wonder though, if you do a hurryup offense after a play you think might be challenged, if the CPU won't be able to challenge because you're not in the play calling screen?

I finally was able to challenge a call myself. I fumbled the ball in a crowd on a kickoff return. Unfortunately my ball carrier was still up and the play stood as a fumble. I still thought it was a momentous occasion. ;)
I don't challenge plays much, but it was the first self-initiated challenge and also the first of its kind on a fumble for me. The others were out-of-bounds, or determining a catch call.

Yeah, but if the replay plays in the corner of the screen while you're looking at the playbook, I believe that counts as "watching the replay". Anytime I've seen a replay there and tried to challenge, it wouldn't let me.
Generally, if a play has me yell "That's bullshit" I'll challenge it.
