Is gameplay better than 06 madden 360?

Ok we all know 06 madden 360 gameplay stunk ! is ncaa alot better? same type gameplay feel? Hard to explain but those like me who hated 06 madden 360 know what im talking about. I haven't picked up my reserve yet as im waiting to see how gameplay is. First time since 1992 I have actually waited to see.

It is really kind of a hybrid of Madden 360 and NCAA 06 if that makes any sense.

The running game feels a lot like Madden 360, but the passing game feels a little more past gen with routes that simply open differently.

It is kind of like they took Madden 360 and tried to make it play as much like NCAA 06 (without the deep ball) as they could... but you can tell where it came from.

yeah... in the midst of my description I failed to mention that I enjoy the gameplay significantly more than Madden

It has a similar feel to Madden 360 IMO, still a very numb feel, ie delayed reactions, sometimes feeling like you arent even in control, but it is improved. Its a little crisper I think, and the passing is alot better, whereas you (or I) get disgusted w/ the run game because of the unresponsive controls. All in all Im pretty happy w/ it, as the AI seems greatly improved for the most part and the animations and some new moves are awesome. Ill be glad when they get the 360s as polished and responsive as the last generation. I cant speak for anybody else, but I would take a hit in graphics/looks to improve the gameplay.

It feels like Madden probably should feel. Short passes are actually effective. You can throw the deep ball just fine...audible to deep pass in a mismatch seems to work the best for me. But it isnt garaunteed.

Defense definately feels like its "Madden Inspired" you have moment where you are completely helpless defending the pass, but 5 min later you can shut it down. Very good game....very frustrating until you cut your teeth and get used to it.

Hawgs exactly what I was looking for. we are on the same page! numbness, unresponsive ect yep thats madden06/360. thanks and since it's a little better I will give it a go. thanks
