View Full Version : 360: Holy Generic Stadiums!

I was planning on starting off with a team in the MAC, but I'm having second thoughts. You see, besides Akron, every team in the MAC has a generic stadium. That in itself isn't really a problem, but when I looked through the stadium previews I realized that every team in the MAC has the exact same bowl-type stadium! [wow]
And then I found Idaho's Kibbie Dome. Guess what? EA didn't even bother to make their generic stadium a dome! So now Idaho has an open-air stadium called the Kibbie Dome! [laugh]

Even the Glass Bowl isn't rendered? AFAIK, The Glass Bowl has been one of the few true-to-form MAC stadiums that has been in pretty much every game. The current gen games have it nailed perfectly.

I think they only did 40 statiums.
They look good, but honestly, once I'm playing I don't pay ANY attention to the stadium...is all gameplay.

The Rubber bowl is also a big dump, from what I remember. Why bother doing that one?

That truly sucks about the one generic stadium. I figured at least Utah St. would get a generic "horse shoeish" stadium but to have a dome opened aired that's a whole new story.
Haven't got to play it yet just picked it up at lunch but has anybody tried to play in that "dome". Is it like the old days where the weather is 75 and no wind no matter what time of the year it was or will you have to play in the Idaho winter.

So how detailed are the stadiums for the 360? Have you zoomed in on any to see?
I've only seen the same screen shots from the air.

Can someone please post shots of Stanford Stadium from XBOX 360? Maybe some multiple angles? Thanks.
Please stop posting stadiums from the 360. Its making me mad that I only have the PS2 version.

Yeah, I probably won't get the game now. I don't want to play the Civil War in some generic stadium, and WSU's stadium is one of my favorites in the conferece. Boo! Now if I already had the 360 there would be no question that I would get it. I'm not so sure now. I don't want to pay $500 for an unfinished game.

Yeah, I probably won't get the game now.
Why's that? Because there are only 7 Pac-10 stadiums (7 3/4 really, the generic one Cal uses is very close to their real one)? Because the Stanford update isn't included?

What about the Cotton Bowl?

ya I know I am doing a toledo dynasty on 360 once i get my system fixed. sux no mac stadiums, but long as game play is good I dont care. I'll proably just play all non conferance games on the road at different rendered stadiums.
Kella is right, they always nail the glass bowl perfect on current gen. Can even see the top of carter hall behind the stadium.
