For Xbox, it's Left Trigger and the B button, I think....

No problem...
My problem with the alley oop play comes from attempting it with players who have low dunk ratings. When you do this with 'low dunk rated' players, they just try a stupid lay in which usually results in a missed shot....however, done with a stud, this play really looks cool...

Still better than March Madness. No matter where they catch the oop, three point line, whatever, they feel they have to shoot the ball.

:D LOL! No kidding....it's so ridiculous....even worse is the accuracy of those shots. [down] I've hit the wrong button and executed "alley-oop" lay-ups from just inside the three-point arc.

how about whne you throw it up for an alley oop and he completely misses the ball and hangs onto the rim? [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

LOL....I haven't seen that yet, but that's probably because the players I have can't reach the rim...[laugh]
Seriously, I also get frustrated because the damn CPU can not only do alley oops, but seem to shoot a much higher percentage from 3 point land. I guess I need to just keep recruiting better players...

Slight slider adjustments have seemed to help me. I can have guys now 78-82 rated on 3-pointers that can now drain open shots consistantly.
The only other thing to stop the CPU from 3 is simply to watch for underneath screens and guys popping out to the wing. When you see this you have to switch off and get in their face.. or its 3 points, yet again.

Yeah, I consistently make an effort to contest those 3 point shots where their shooters are coming off of screens. Of course, better athletes will eventually help me there.
Out of curiosity, which slider and by how much did you adjust to achieve this?
Thanks.

what about put back slams? Ive had a number of times when ive gotten offensive rebounds where i wish i could have just slammed it back on a put-back. The computer does it to me often. Anyone know how to do this?
