I have to be honest, the other night I brought #1 Gonzaga into Storrs for a showdown with my #5 Huskies. Gonzaga jumped on me early, it was 13-2 at one time. Well, needless to say I went into the half down by twelve. I came out the 2nd half hitting three after three after three. I finally got a one point lead. That lead turned into an eight point lead with about 2:30 left in the game. I was becoming happy. Well, Gonzaga starts draining crazy shots from everywhere, in the post, mid-range jumpers, threes, thus I was trailing 68-65 with ten seconds left. I inbounded the ball and took it down court, passed around looking for a somewhat open shot to try and tie it up. Well, I banked the shot and Gonzaga won, 68-65. I said all of that to say this: At the end of the game, I had several tears in my eyes. Anyone else ever shed a couple?

Wooly, I love you, you are the only one that has responded to 2 OF MY NO POST THREADS. The cryings over though. I met Gonzaga again that year in the NC and beat the shit outta them, final score was 86-54.

I had a game that was similiar to that, but still kinda different.
Last night in my West Virginia legacy, I went on a road trip to LSU. They were 1-1 and I was 2-1 after losing to Texas in the Guardians Classic.
LSU comes out and just jumps all over me. I couldn't hit a shot, and they could miss. I went into halftime down 20 or so. We came out in the second half hitting the 3. With about 4 minutes left, we had cut the lead to around 15. By the 2 minute mark, we took our first lead of the game. Coming down the stretch, 10 or so seconds left, we're tied. They throw the ball to Davis (C) behind the arc. He throws it up.....Swoosh. 3 second left so I call a time out. I throw it to half court on the inbound, and hit Beiline (sp?) behind the arc with a man in his face. I throw it up...........it's good, were going to OT!

In OT, I stayed hot behind the 3 line, and won by about 6. Heck of a game.

I live for adoration.:D I actually did cry during a football game two years ago though. Nebraska was bitchslapped by Texas Tech, and I felt the impact a 1000 miles away in Logan. My wife was almost scared to ask me what was going on.

At least there everybody would have understood my pain. My wife was getting worried. She has never seen me cry before or since, including our firstborn child.:o:D

Well good! I didn't cry when it happened to me, I cussed like crazy. [evil] I was playing as Alabam A&M against WIscinsin for the NC game and the sank a last second shot to beat me. I've never been so mad at a game in my entire life

Darn texas tech, first they do that, then they freakin cheat us out of a win in Lubbock. A little part of me died that day when the refs cheated us out of that win. I can stand losing to a team, but when you lose on a bad call it rips me apart.

I'm famous in my family for screaming and throwing controllers, causing them to almost break. That's worse than crying any day of the week.
