ESPN CH2K6 Online play?

How fun is this game to play online? How many people play it online for PS2? I've heard that the gameplay is fun, but that there are some stupid things that ruin legacies (tall players, ridiculous recruiting things), so I wondered if this game would be worth picking up and playing primarily online (as I do with both NCAA and Madden).

Well, I can't speak for PS2, but on XBox, there are very few people on. When you finally get a game, most likely they will be: UConn, Duke, Villanova, or Maryland. Most people try and dunk a lot, and fast break a lot. Also, you have to watch out for people who do reverse jams. They're unblockable, but are easy to take charges against.

I found out along time ago that online basketball blows. If there is any lag, the game is unplayable because of the preciseness of the shots that you need. It is also very easy to get cheesed. I only played about 10 games online a couple of years ago. For starters, there weren't enough people online to keep my interest up. Then probably half my games I played against Duke where the person just bombed 3 pointers with Redick. The other half someone wiggeled the chord whenever I was on offense.
