Can't upset a major conference opponent

Yep, so in my entire closed legacy thus far I have had my ass handed to me in every single game I have played against a major conference foe, no matter how bad they were, most recent example was a shellacking at the hands of USC, a team that's only 5 pts better than me overall (82 to 77).

This is getting really fucking frustrating and I have tried to reduce dunk success big time for the CPU since they get so many put up alley-oop slams on offensive boards its not even funny yet, I still have issues. I have my foul sliders jacked up so that's not an issue. I am also playing at the All-Conference level so its not like the CPU is supposed to be impossible.

Nevermind, I lowered the CPU's dunk sliders and ended up winning by 6 over USC (Yes, I reloaded to the last save point in my San Diego dynasty). It was still a very hard-fought game though, we were basically neck-and-neck until the half when I gained a 5 point lead going into the locker room. Led by only as many as 9 in the 2nd half as USC stayed within striking distance but the closest they could come was within 3.
