2K6.....
whats funny, is that 20 min after i posted that, i beat #1 ranked Duke in Cameron Indoor by 20 pts......then i come out against Wake Forest, and they're beating me 40-20 at halftime.......i just dont get it....some games it just seems like my guys REFUSE to make shots, and the other team can throw up anything and make it. I mean, Wake Forest started out that game going 9-11 from the field......thats ridiculous.

Try likewhoas sliders.
And are you saying to me that you beat a top ranked team handily, like Marquette did in real life?
And then you were getting beat by another team, like Marquette is going to get most of this year?
I at first was flustered with this game, but starting the game 9-11 is not unheard of, teams come out with hot starts frequently.
Here is a tip for when the other team gets real hot: Slow the game down.
When I am playing and the team I am facing starts a run I, I start using every second of that shot clock. It helps me get my offense in better shape and keeps them out of their's.
Also, when the other team starts cashing in easy buckets, you have to do the same.
Two plays: SG Take, and Pick and Roll. Both are great if you have an inside presence and a wing player who can knock down a jumper.

The key with this game is practice and getting the sliders to fit your style of play. The sliders out of the box aren't bad but like any sports game need to be tweaked to fit your style.
Also theres a learning curve to get down the many different controls and options. Theres alot of depth and going into my 3rd season in legacy I'm just barely getting a handle on.
Just give the game time and you'll get the hang of it in no time.

2k6 is fairly lame IMO. I felt 2k5 was MUCH better. I don't feel like I have enough control, particulary on defense. MM06 isn't exactly peaches and cream but I can't play 2k6 much anymore.
