I've been reading what people said about both, but am having trouble deciding which one to ask for for Christmas. Any suggestions?

Almost everyone here will tell you to get CH, and rightfully so!

If you were renting one, maybe MM would get the nod as it sounds easier to pick it up and succeed with it. When it comes to purchasing, I think CH gets the nod.

(I own MM and haven't played CH yet. MM is yet another EA game tested by players who have do not have adequate knowledge of the sport.)

If you want longer shelf-life: Go with CH. Excellent legacy play, excellent online play. Plus, you get to participate in Midnight Madness and there's a season preview and selection sunday show featuring Greg Gumbel and Clark Kellogg

Once the Playstation 2 came out, March Madness went WAY downhill IMO. I had MM '01 and loved it, then I got a PS2 and MM '02 and it sucked, granted it was the first one made for PS2, but it didn't even have a Season mode or Legacy or anything. They've gotten better, but they still are no comparison to College Hoops IMO.

i had MM '99 and '00...they kicked ass!I had so much fun with them. I absolutely hate the player models in MM these days, they look like their running with two broken legs, and i just dont care for the gameplay whatsoever. ESPN/2K def took over when PS2 came out. Although this is my opinion, im sure many will agree MM is 2K's bitch:p

For $29 I don't see how you can't buy CH2K6.

I got a copy of CH a couple years ago and didn't regret it all. I'm sure it has improved even more since then going by some of the stuff i've read.

Seems like their game is alot more put together and tested than EA's product. I probably got almost two years worth of enjoyment from CH...in comparison I get bored with EA's NCAA football game pretty quick with all the flaws that it has.

in this year's ch2k6 can you do a tournament and edit the teams playing in it? i got the espn game with tj ford on it a couple of years ago and you couldnt edit the teams in the tournament. also, can you call a play on the fly and see the diagram on the floor during a game like in mm last year? that's one of the few things i liked about the game because without the diagram executing a play is difficult

I hear ya, im still running on espn 2k5. Didn't get the newest one because I dont want to restart a closed legacy that I'm 5 years into.
