I'm embarrased to admit I watched about 45 mins of this on ESPNU today.[down] When they get into the NCAA's I find it interesting though.

Why? I love watching college sports and I'll watch volleyball over women's basketball anyday of the week.

But it also helps when your team is ranked number one in the nation.:)

It also helps that some of the volleyball girls are very nice looking and have short spandex pants on.

Nebraska has a hell of a team. Didnt yall just set a record for attendence in a regional or something?

Yeah, shattered the record I guess with 15,119 in the Quest Center in Omaha. I caught part of the regional final that Washington played in and it looked nearly empty.

What's cool is that the University of Nebraska-Kearney, which played in the DII national championship game, hosted the Elite 8 and also set a record for DII just a couple of weeks ago with over 4,000 in attendance.

I'm actually a huge volleyball fan. It's the only women's sport i like. My friends and I go crazy at all the home games, and we drove to the SEC tournament in Alabama, as well as 16 hours through a snowstorm to the sweet 16 / elite 8 games in the penn state (we upset the #2 and #8? teams in the nation). Apparently Tennesse was the lowest seeded team ever to make the final 4 (untill santa clara made it a few hours later). I'm pretty pissed i can't afford to go to San Antonio for the final 4.
