Located at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana

First Game: Xavier-Purdue 4:30 PM

Second Game: NC State-Notre Dame 7PM

Should be a cool event. Thank goodness the football game is at noon so the games wouldn't intersect.

I heard these games were on ESPN Classic, but GoPack.com says FSN South. Any confirmation on this?

UPDATE: My guess on the TV scheduling is that the games will be broadcasted on ESPN Classic but depending on what type of Satellite/cable provider you have ESPN Classic could black out and give you the game on FSN or hell, both. Confusing situation.

I think they were originially scheduled for ESPNC but changed to FSN.

Yeah, ESPN Classic has "Ringside" on from 5-11.

Good luck to you guys. NCSU won against Maryland, so if a loss happens I might not be too angry.

If we shoot well we should win, if not it could get ugly. Luke Zeller was a beast in the second half against Hofstra and we beat them by 19 after trailing by 4 at the half. Hofstra is a good win for RPI. ND is a hot/cold team, and we've struggled at the start of several games this year. We need to get off to a hot start and continue to play very good defense like we have been the last few games.

The game is also on HDNet [Channel 79 - DirectTV] in HD

Yup, our offense is cold and turning it over. NCST is going to pull away soon. We're not a very good team this year, Quinn has been cold every game. Brey's seat is warming.

And the Wolfpack seal the victory with some free throws, 61-48. State got off-balance by the pressure that ND put on, but ND couldn't capitalize on the turnovers, for the most part. Good road win by the Wolfpack, moving on to 5-0. This is a game that Sendek's squad would usually lose, but I was impressed with their play during most of the game. Should be a good game @ Iowa on Wednesday.

Good win, but we're not very good I don't think.

Did you notice how on offense for the most part we just stood around? It's like we don't have an offense, we just toss the rock around and hope someone is open.

Unfortunately, when you lose great shooters like Chris Thomas, Matt Carroll, and Dan Miller.. you can't get away with that type of offense. We just seem lost out there, and Quinn and Falls seem to have lost all of their touch - did they even score?

Anyways, congrats on the win. Let's both hope that that ends up being a critical win for NC ST :)

We should've blown them out in my opinion, but it's within Herb's ability to even fathom that. On the road it seems like what ever our biggest lead was, subtract that by 10, and that will be the winning margin. It was a decent win, but Notre Dame didn't impress me and we need to work on shooting 3's in both the zone and man-to-man. Sometimes we passed around the 3-point line really stupidly, people need to penetrate in there or give it to Ced or Brackman on the low block.

^ You are overlooking the point that this is a game that Herb typically loses. They won, and ND never got really close after State stretched it out to 10 points or so. I was most impressed with how State played against the zone, which has always been a weakness. Bottom line, any win on the road against a team from a major conference is a good one, and I'm not going to complain just yet. I've said it before, and I will say it many more times (hopefully) that this is the best team Herb has had, and I expect them to finish in the top 3 in the ACC. As of right now, that looks like a likely scenario.

I don't know if you should have blown us out, to be sure. We played well on defense, and kept the game relatively close despite only scoring 48, the least of any Mike Brey coached team while he's been here.

Purdue is going to have a rough year, but I think Xavier should now be considered the favorite to win the A-10. NC State should do pretty well in the ACC, while Notre Dame will predictably struggle in the improved Big East.
