That's for damn sure. Seton Hall was terrible last year, and then all of their top players either graduated or transferred during the summer. Boykin looked terrible in the first half against SH tonight. But Paulus and McRoberts should be alright in the ACC.

Also, they beat SH by 50+. Redick didn't even play most of the 2nd half and only ended with 18 points. They were rocking all freshmen/practice squad 9th year seniors the 2nd half and even THOSE guys were balling all over SH's starters.

I must admit, I have a soft spot for Duke. I liked them as a kid (mainly because they were even then, the only fucking team on TV) before becoming more of a Georgetown fan. However, 2 kids I went to HS with played for Duke as walkons, I am sure Duke fans remember the Caldbeck brothers. I was in the same class as Ryan (http://www.dukeupdate.com/Alumni/ryan_caldbeck.htm) (Rice, 1997) and we have known each other since 7th grade, and knew Justin (http://www.dukeupdate.com/Alumni/justin_caldbeck.htm) (Rice, 1995) in HS.

That was one of the worst performances I've ever seen by a major conference D1 team...Seton Hall shot 23% I think it was, and most of there shots weren't even CLOSE.

Duke will probably win the ACC but I don't think they are national championship material. I don't like what they have at PG and I think they have to rely on too many freshman off the bench to be clutch in March/April.

I will take UT and UConn (with Marcus Williams, obviously) over Duke at this point...but it's still way too early to tell.

So, a Maryland fan acted like he was contributing and said that NCM's girlfriend's name was Myra (which it actuall was/is I believe) and that she has a pet name for him of Piggy. The joke is Myron Piggie is a very infamous figure in the Corey Maggette recruiting scandal.

So in effect, the Dookies were making fun of themselves without even knowing it.

I played point guard, and growing up I loved U of A, the School of PGs, ever since Stoudamire in '95. Since then, they've been my favorite college hoops team. I am starting to care a lot about IU basketball, but I don't think that will ever measure up to how much I love Arizona (at least not unless I play for IU). Lute's the man.
