MM06: Player Ratings Decrease?

Played two seasons and in both my player's ratings have decreased at year's end. I'm not sure if this is because their stats didn't justify their ratings or if this is a glitch, but it is surprising nonetheless. In NCAA Football, no matter what, a player's rating goes up every year. I wonder why it's different in NCAA MM06? I'll play a little longer to see if this has been the exception rather than the norm.

In the year I simulated, my team went up - though very slightly. I used Nebraska....what team were you using at the time?

Maybe that had something to do with it? Still very odd and wrong though....
