I'm a pretty big believer in this Josh McRoberts kid.

I'm a pretty big believer in this Josh McRoberts kid.

Ya he's a good player but he won't do anything in the NBA. Remember, he goes to Duke...

Gerald Green was the best player in that class even though his Draft number didn't show it.

Did you see that kid in the All-Star game? He was easily the most athletic guy there.

(but you're right, he does go to Duke... not a good sign)

I'm biased because I played a pick-up game with him, so Gerald Green. Nice guy.

I'll say Green, but McRoberts is right up there too.

Played against him, and with the exception of Greg Oden, he's the most athletic guy I've been on the floor with in the past year or two. If Bill Self can work with him on his fundamentals and turn him into a scorer, look out. He was a PG for his high school during his junior year because of injuries and still led them to a state runner-up finish.

Well, being a Duke fan, I say McRoberts. He will get a lot of PT this simply because of the depth that we didn't have last year and don't have this year.

Hey, since you're from Indiana, have you played D1 Greyhounds yet with O.J. Mayo and Bill Walker? Those kids are amazing and very athletic at that. O.J. is coined as the next Lebron...

Never actually faced them since I'm two years ahead of them, but I've seen them play. And if the game between Lawrence North and North College Hill is still on at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, I'm definitely going to that game too.
Actually, Bill Walker has the potential to be even better than O.J. because of his freaking athleticism.

Ya but they have no answer for Oden. The same thing happened in Vegas during Big Time when D1 played Indy Speace Heat.

But I agree with you about Walker, that kid's a freak-of-nature. I still think that Mayo will end up being better because he's almost as good a passer as Lebron was back in H/S. And at 6'5" that will help greatly at the next level.

True, and there's no way Keenan Ellis can hold Oden. I played against Keenan when he was living in high school, and he's a complete head-case. His team (Cathedral) got smoked against LN a couple years ago in the state playoffs and Oden just dominated. At the same time, it would still be a great matchup between the two teams overall.
