Looking for a few good players

I don't like playing glitchers, especially glitchers with good records that I'm beating and then they quit on me. I just like playing good close games.

If anyone else likes straight up REAL football, not the going for it on 4th and 7 inside your own 40 crap, add me to your EA messenger and I'll be more than happy to kick your butt, or at least take my loss like a man and not quit or glitch(I don't even know how those people "glitch" to begin with)

You know there are times where going for it on 4th and 7 or so, is better than punting. Like say I'm in my opponents 33 yard line. If I punt it theres a good chance it goes to the endzone for a touchback, and basically thats just a 13 yard punt, not a big punt. If I go for the field goal its close to a 48 yard kick, and good chance my kicker doesn't have the leg for it.

So seeing how a punt or a missed field goal aren't good, I'll think hmm...why not go for it? If I get first down great, if not my opponent is on his own 33 yard line, not much difference from the 20 yard line.

Anyhow thats the area I'll think about going for it on 4th down.

I said it's crap to go for it on 4th and 7 if you're inside your OWN 40, not inside the opponents 40. Of course it's right to go for it when a puny might not help or the field goal is too long. Obviously I didn't say that I had a problem with that.

I wasn't replying to your message, I saw what you said and yes inside your own 40 isn't a good time to go for it on 4th down. I was typing about the subject of going for it on 4th down in general. There are some who don't like going for it on 4th down period, and it was those people whom I was writing to.
